Re: Repetition Range Continuum for resistance Exercise Reply #1 – October 05, 2024, 06:24:21 AM I have a question about switching between strength & hypertrohy training.My short term objective is to build muscle mass, but long term I also want to gain strength as well. I found a cycle by a long term (32 years) weight trainer:4 months Strength followed by 2 weeks off then 4 months Hypertrophy followed by 2 weeks off.Does anyone have experience with this sort of cycle?I have traditionally always trained (judo) for strength & didn’t worry about muscle mass. After 5 years of cutting & 50 lbs weight loss, I’d like to put on some muscle.I am open to suggestions & comments.MikeD Quote Selected
